West Parry Sound OPP is charging a man after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Last Friday, around 8 a.m., marine Unit members of the OPP executed an arrest warrant on an individual on Good Cheer Island in Archipelago Township.
The warrant was executed with the assistance of an OPP Critical Incident Commander, Central Tactics and Rescue Unit, Tactical K9, a Central Tactical Emergency Medical Service member and the North East Region Emergency Response team.
As a result of the investigation, a 33-year-old man from Toronto is facing several charges.
This includes breaking and entering, theft under $5000, mischief, resisting a peace officer and failure to comply with a probation order.
The man will be before a judge at the Ontario Court of Justice in Parry Sound on May 22.
