Magnetawan Central School is closed today due to a power outage. Highway winds have knocked power out to thousands of homes in the Parry Sound and Huntsville areas. The Near North District School Board says families and caregivers will be advised when power is restored and the school can re-open. Hydro One doesn’t expect to restore power across the region until this afternoon or late this evening.
