The Municipality of Whitestone is making changes to the days that its landfills will be open.
Effective April 11th the York Street landfill will only be open on Thursdays and Sundays and the Aulds Road landfill will only be open on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Residents are also reminded that at this time the landfills will only be accepting household waste and recycling such as glass,plastics, fibres and metals.
No brush, construction.demolition debris, tire, mattresses or boats will be accepted at this time.
