School buses in West Parry Sound are cancelled for this morning. The Nipissing Parry Sound Students Transportation Services has cancelled buses serving Mactier, Humphrey, and Rosseau, McDougall, Whitestone, and Ahmic Harbour, Britt and Nobel, and the Town of Parry Sound. First Student buses 405, 414, and 420 in East Parry Sound South are cancelled and Whitmell bus 471 in East Parry Sound South is partially interrupted. Both the high school and elementary buses in Wausauksing, the Shawanaga bus, the bus to St. Peter’s and the bus to St. Dominic’s in Bracebridge are also cancelled. The Elementary School in Shawanaga is closed to all students and staff today because of the weather. Parents and students are reminded that all other schools remain open for those students who can get there safely and that buses cancelled in the morning will not run in the afternoon so any students going to school need safe transportation home.
