OPP investigate bank robbery

ORILLIA, ON-The Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a robbery at the local bank in Orillia.

On November 12th, a man entered the bank on West St. South in Orillia at around 4:40 p.m. The suspect went up to the teller, and informed them that he had a weapon. He then requested money.

The teller handed over an unknown amount of cash and the suspect fled southbound on West St.

According to the press release, the OPP responded quickly and called upon the assistance of the Central Region Canine (K9) unit to help with the investigation.
