A new technology has been successful here in Parry Sound. At council’s regular meeting last week, Director of Operations Peter Brown was asked to explain the technology used to replace pipes in the area of Marion and Christian Street.

Brown says it’s the first time they’ve used it in Parry Sound and it was a resounding success. The town plans to use the same technology on Sunset Drive where a water main and sewer pipe need to be replaced.
