For the first time, local snowmobile clubs will offer trail permits. The Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs are continuing to offer 2015 Snowmobile Trail Permits online, but for the first time this season, are now also available directly from the OFSC’s community based snowmobile clubs and their volunteers or from club designated retail outlets across the province. There are two types of permits available; a seasonal permit for all sleds and a classic permit for sleds made in 1999 or older. OFSC member clubs operate over 30,000 kilometres of snowmobile trails throughout Ontario that rely on the revenue from the sale of permits to pay trail operational costs.
