You can still give your input regarding internet use in the Parry Sound area. After releasing the results of their community survey last month, the West Parry Sound Smart Community has re-opened the survey. Chair of the organization, Lis McWalter, says the reason they re-opened the survey was because they have received calls and community requests to do so. To take the survey and find out more about Smart Community, visit their website at www.smartnow.ca. Meanwhile, Vianet is beginning to construct their high-speed fibre internet in the Town of Parry Sound and have posted a map on their facebook page with which streets are ready.
