Our Health Centre has received a large donation from a new company in Parry Sound. Lakeland Holding Limited recently merged with Parry Sound Power had Friday, they made a $5000 donation to the West Parry Sound Health Centre. Chair of the Board for the power company Tom Peppiatt says of the donation that it’s important to contribute to the communities they serve. Executive Director of the Health Centre Foundation Lynne Atkinson says donation will help buy the ICU’s new $440,000 patient monitoring system to help keep hospital services in our community.
