Peter Hopkins remains as Reeve in McKellar. The unofficial results released last night showed Hopkins receiving 731 votes to get re-elected in the hotly contested race. The council in McKellar will consist of Mike Kekkonen who received the most votes with 878, Debbie Zulak with 781, Bonnie Beier (buyer) with 763, and Morley Haskim with 649. John Cole just missed becoming councilor by 27 votes. The official results are expected to be verified by the Deputy Clerk later today.
