A Sundridge woman faces drinking and driving charges after rolling her jeep into the ditch. West Parry Sound OPP was called to a single vehicle rollover on Highway 124 in McDougall Township last Thursday afternoon just before 5:00pm. Police say the jeep drove off the road and rolled onto its side causing minor injuries to the drive and she was taken to hospital by ambulance. An investigation revealed a strong smell of alcohol coming from the driver and the 56-year-old was arrested and charged with driving while ability impaired and driving with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in blood. She’ll face those charges in a Parry Sound court next month.
