Tow of three candidates for Mayor in Seguin resonded about where their municipality fits in the Parry Sound District and how they would work with the other municipalities. Mayoral candidate Ron Steele believes Seguin is one of the economic drivers of the district.

Current Councillor running for Mayor, Bruce Gibbon says Seguin is part of numerous district-wide initiatives and plans to continue that.

Mike Phillips is also running for mayor but did not reply to the request for comment. Every resident should have received their online and telephone voting information through the mail and if you haven’t, please contact the municipal office. The voting period started Tuesday morning and will end at 8:00pm on Election Day, October 27th.
