A 65-year-old man faces numerous weapons charges after a domestic disturbance in South River. Almaguin Highlands OPP found four non-registered long guns, a restricted hand gun and a variety of ammunition while investigating the domestic disturbance last Thursday. Police arrested and charged the South River man with assault, pointing a firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm, careless storage of a firearm, and unauthorized possession of a weapon. He’ll be in court in Parry Sound this Friday for a bail hearing.
