Police are warning everyone that it is unsafe to flight remote control plane over the Parry Sound Harbour. West Parry Sound OPP recently received a report that a model aircraft was being operated over the Parry Sound Harbour where manned float planes take off and land. For safety reasons OPP encourages recreational enthusiasts to consult Transport Canada rules for use of remote control aircraft in areas where large aircraft are known to take off and land utilizing bodies of water.
