Rain washes coyote fence at Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary

Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary needs your helps after torrential rain washed out a section of fencing for their coyote pen. Yesterday, staff and volunteers helped to put up temporary netting for eight orphaned coyotes after fencing collapsed. Fortunately, no coyotes escaped or were injured; however roads were washed out during the rain storm.  Staff looking to the public for donations of gravel or large culverts to help repair the roads. Volunteers are also needed for the repairs. For more information, call Julie Woodyer at 416-451-5976.
