The West Parry Sound District Museum is looking for help bringing a historic railway back to life.
The Museum on Tower Hill has been offered a model recreation of the Ottawa, Armprior and Parry Sound Railway, a throwback to the days of the booming lumber industry. However, in order to display the model, the museum needs to undergo some renovations, which a price tag of about $5,000. That’s where you can come in to help, as museum officials are running a GoFundMe Campaign to help with this cost.
The campaign closes tomorrow, so you’ll need to go to the fundraiser page now to help out. Museum officials hope to install the exhibit in the fall.
