Two men have been charged with assault after an incident at closing time in Burk’s Falls. Almaguin Highlands OPP investigated an assault that happened on Sunday when a local establishment was trying to close and several patrons refused to leave. A man tried to help staff remove the customers and was assaulted. Police arrested and charged a 23-year-old from North Bay and a 28-year-old from Armour with assault with a weapon and they’ll face those charges in a Sundridge court in October.
