The minister responsible for FedNor is applauding Science North for providing great summer camps across Northern Ontario. Greg Rickford was at a summer camp in Kenora Wednesday afternoon to speak with camp staff and participants as well as take part in some of the activities offered. Rickford says he couldn’t be more thrilled they are taking steps so that kids across the north have access to the science and technology that children in Sudbury have access to if they visited Science North. This year, across Northern Ontario, Science North will reach an estimated 2,200 children, between the ages of 4 and 11, through summer camps including a camp set for Parry Sound August 18-29.
