Backpack for Kids is currently underway. The goal is to fill 200 backpacks with school supplies for kids in Huntsville and Almaguin Highlands. Bell and other community partners will be collecting backpacks and monetary donations from now until August 15th. You can donate $27 to fill a bag or fill a bag yourself by adopting a backpack. Bags will then be distributed through Family Youth and Child Services of Muskoka, Children’s Aid Society in Burk’s Falls and Ontario Works in East Parry Sound.
