Get into the holiday spirit and join the community for Light Up the Park and Stories with Santa this Friday.
Activities will take place from 4 – 7 pm at the Parry Sound Library then move to Market Square Park for a tree lighting ceremony.
This year, the Bayside Family Church will bring a band to lead in the singing of Christmas carols
Susan Hrycyna, the Executive Administrator for the downtown business association, encourages everyone to come out to the event.

The Salvation Army is also kicking-off its Kettle campaign and will be serving complimentary Tim Horton’s hot chocolate from the Community Assistance Van at the park.
This annual event has been happening locally for the last 18 years.
