The special weather statement continues for Parry Sound – from Environment Canada as of 10:45am.
Periods of brief but intense snowfall are expected. Visibilities will be rapidly reduced due to the heavy snow combined with blowing snow.
Strong winds will weaken this afternoon.
Strong westerly wind gusts of 70 to 80 km/h will continue through the early part of the afternoon before weakening later this afternoon.
