Women in Business could receive up to $100,000

Local businesses that are run by female entrepreneurs could see a $100,000 grant from the government.

As part of the 2018 budget, the Women Entrepreneurship Strategy is a comprehensive, whole-of-government plan to help women grow their businesses through access to financing, talent, networks and expertise.

“There are two streams: some are not-for-profit, who want to work with business in terms of their growth and the second is directly for women in business that will allow them to apply for $100,000 per business,” said Begin.
