There is still time to buy preseason snowmobile permits this month.
The process to purchase a permit has been streamlined this year. In previous years, snowmobilers were required to get their tags at their local snowmobile club. Now there’s a website for all snowmobile districts in Ontario.
The new process relieves snowmobile clubs and snowmobilers from physically going to a district club.
Kim Kavanagh, District Administrator of the Parry Sound Snowmobile District, OFSC District 10, says she feels better about the centralized process rather than manually entering rider information.
