A Mississauga man after allegedly failing to stop for police.
On Tuesday, West Parry Sound OPP was notified about a vehicle that hadn’t stopped for police in Sudbury. The vehicle was spotted on Highway 69 in Britt-Byng Inlet. Getting ahead of it, police set up a spike belt on Highway 400 near Carling Township and were able to stop the driver.
A 28-year-old man is charged with flight from police and dangerous operation of a vehicle. A 23-year-old woman who was in the vehicle at the time was also charged with possession of illegal drugs.
