Autumn starts showing in Parry Sound as cold weather prompts leaf change

The fall colours are starting to show in Parry Sound.

According to Ontario Travel’s Fall Colour Progression Report, the leaf change across the district should be at 20 per cent, meaning there are small pockets of colour starting to show. Tourism officials say the sudden push in colour change is likely due to the colder weather which hit Parry Sound this week.

Officials say Killbear Provincial Park is a great place to see some spectacular fall colour views.

If you’re planning on taking a fall colour tour you can find out more about the views in Muskoka here and in Haliburton here.
