With Thanksgiving just over a week away, you’re asked to help give back to families in need.
Starting Friday, the Salvation Army will be running its annual week-long Thanksgiving Food Drive at Sobeys in Parry Sound. Shoppers can easily buy a pre-filled donation bag at the checkout to help restock the shelves at the Salvation Army Food Bank.
And on Saturday, Parry Sound paramedics and firefighters will stage their annual “Boot Drive” collecting cash donations at locations across the town for their toy/food drive and School breakfast programs.
The Boot Drive will be at No Frills, Sobeys, Canadian Tire, all 3 local Tim Hortons and on Park Drive in front of Walmart from 9-2.
