Hydro One crews are working hard to get Parry Sound customers back on the grid.
After a windstorm on Friday left tens of thousands of homes in the dark, crews have been fixing downed lines around the district. As of today, just over a thousand customers are still without power. However, Hydro One expects the majority of these properties will be restored throughout the day. All customers should have power again by 10:00pm tonight.
However, it’s a different story in Almaguin, where pockets of properties could remain in the dark until tomorrow night.
