The Terry Fox Foundation is hoping to see Parry Sounders step up this weekend.
On Sunday, the annual cancer fundraising campaign runs once again at Waubuno Beach in town. Interested residents are invited to run, walk, bike, rollerblade and roll on the 5km route that starts at the beach and winds through the community.
Funds raised will be used in research to help realize Terry Fox’s dream to find a cure for the deadly disease.
You can show up at 9:30am to register for the run, which starts at 10:30. But, if you’d like to register a team beforehand and raise some funds you can find more details on how to do that here.
