No comment on the cause of Parry Sound 33

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is not commenting on the cause of the Parry Sound 33 fire.  The fire is over 5,000 hectares in size and is considered out of control.  The fire started in Henvey Inlet and has resulted in the evacuation of the First Nation and other small communities.  Earlier today CBC News reported workers at the site of a wind power project on the First Nation had been told to continue working last week despite the fire ban and tinder-dry conditions.  The My Parry Sound Now newsroom has contacted both the MNRF and PowerTel who have refused to comment saying the cause of the fire is under investigation.
