Olympian coming home to MacTier

This Saturday, Chris Lee from the Olympic Hockey Team will be at The Muskoka Station Store. Lee helped the Men’s Team win a Bronze Medal in this year’s Winter Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea. Lee says he’s returned to thank his fans and those who donated to KidSport Georgian Bay. KidSport covers sport registration fees and equipment grants for local youth who cannot afford to play sports.

He says, “I’ve been pretty blessed to have had an entire town behind me my entire career and I was just happy to play a small role in giving back to the community through KidSport.”

Chris will be joined by his wife Eileen, and their two kids Carter and Jackson. Lee will be signing autographs and taking photos with his bronze medal on Saturday between 11 am and 1 pm at The Muskoka Station Store in MacTier.

Lee has also played four seasons with the Metallurg Magnitogorsk in the KHL in Russia.
