A Parry Sound man was sentenced on Monday to 18 months in jail and two years probation. 53-year-old Victor Smith was found guilty on May 4th of one count of sexual interference and two sexual assault charges. His first court appearance was in September 2016. He was also sentenced to a 10-year ban from working with children, a 10-year weapon prohibition, 20 years on the sex offenders registry, and was made to provide a DNA sample.
