With a relatively dry long weekend ahead, the fire danger rating in Parry Sound has been raised to high. Leduc says, when the danger rating is high, most municipalities ban residential fireworks and open-air burning, only allowing campfires.
Leduc says it’s the individual’s responsibility to know the rules.
