The Green Party officially launched their election campaign for the Parry Sound-Muskoka riding on Tuesday. Parry Sound-Muskoka candidate Matt Richter and Green Party leader Mike Schreiner both appeared at the Algonquin Theatre in Huntsville. Richter says, “The Green Way is The Parry Sound-Muskoka Way… let’s be the riding that will bring the first Green Party candidate to Queens Park. Let’s make history!” Schreiner says “On June 7th the Green Wave will come to Ontario.” The Green Party will release a costed platform next week. Richter faces incumbent conservative Norm Miller, liberal Brenda Rhodes, the NDP and Ontario Libertarians.
