Several businesses in our region are getting a leg-up from the feds as part of a $7.1 million dollar investment by Fednor.
Navdeep Bains, Federal Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development who is also the Minister in charge of FedNor made the announcement earlier this week. The repayable investments include just under $570,000 for Crofter’s in Parry Sound and another $200,000 for Trestle Brewery.
The Parry Sound Area Community and Business Development Centre were awarded $300,000. The funding is provided through FedNor’s Northern Ontario Development and Community Futures Program to enhance business development and growth and facilitate innovation.
