CAA SAYS 1.4 MILLION ONTARIO DRIVERS HAVE DRIVEN WHILE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF POT

A new study says Ontario drivers want more information and education about legalized marijuana.

The Ipsos survey, commissioned by the South Central Ontario CAA and released on Thursday December 7th, reveals some surprising numbers about marijuana use among Ontario drivers.

Based on a sampling of one thousand drivers in August, the survey found that 2 in 10 drivers have driven under the influence of marijuana in the last 3 months alone.

When translated into real numbers, that represents 485,000 Ontario drivers.
