Parry Sound Catholic School Board Trustee, Carol Corriveau-Truchon returns as school board chair.
At its meeting on Wednesday, December 6th, the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board acclaimed Corriveau-Truchon as Chair and Barrie Trustee Marie Hardie as Vice-Chair of the Board of Trustees.
The Parry Sound trustee was first elected to the board in 2010 and served as board chair last year.
Representing an area that also includes Bracebridge and Huntsville, Corriveau-Truchon was first elected to the board of trustees in 2010.
A resident of Bracebridge, the newly acclaimed chair said she was honoured and humbled to serve another term and looked forward to working with the board in the upcoming year.
