A Parry Sound OPP officer has to shell out some cash after a crash in town. It happened on Friday at McMurray Street and Church Street, when a fully marked cruiser was turning left from Church onto McMurray. The OPP says the cruiser hit another car which was coming up to the intersection. The crash damaged both cars, but there were no injuries reported.
The officer, who has been with the West Parry Sound detachment for nine months, was given a Provincial Offences Notice for an unsafe turn.
