The fire danger rating has been set to moderate ahead of this weekend.
This is according to West Parry Sound Fire Coordinator Brian Leduc.
A moderate rating means daytime burning is allowed with a permit for outdoor fire places. Campfires are allowed two hours before sundown until two hours after sunrise.
The fire danger rating has not reached higher than moderate in Parry Sound at any point during 2017.
