The Canadian Mental Health Association of Muskoka-Parry Sound is launching a new campaign with a breakfast celebration.
The 12th annual Lifelines to Healing Campaign is kicking off on Thursday. The goal of the campaign is to de-stigmatize addiction through educating the community. The CMHA says substance abuse is a health issue that requires treatment.
The breakfast will be held at the St. Peter’s Knights of Columbus Hall in Parry Sound.
Registration opens at 8 am and the breakfast will take place from 8:30 am to 11:00 am.
The price of breakfast is $5 at the door.
