Changes are coming to the Whitestone Public Library.
The library is embarking on several renovations to improve accessibility. According to Gayle Harris from the library board, the renovations will include installing a wheelchair accessible ramp, an automatic door and the removal of two interior walls.
Harris says these renovations are possible because of funding from Employment and Social Development Canada and from the Municipality of Whitestone.
She adds that these renovations may just be the beginning.

Work is set to begin on the library in October.
