Nipissing University students are heading to parts of Parry Sound for Shinerama.
This is the university’s 20th year participating in the nation-wide charity car wash. It’s taking place 10:30 – 3 pm and is raising money for Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
Sarah McGowan from the Nipissing University Student union says the majority of car wash stops are in North Bay. However, there will be stops in Callander at Lucky 13 and in Powassan at the Fire Department.
According to McGowan there’s not a minimum donation to get a car wash, but every dollar goes towards a good cause.
Shinerama has raised $26 million since 1964 for Cystic Fibrosis research and treatment.
