The Northern Ontario party was originally founded in the 1970’s, but disbanded in 1985. It was reformed in 2010, and has a platform aimed at improving the lives of all Northern Ontarians.

The long term goal of the party is for Northern Ontario to become its own province.

My Parry Sound Now has reached out to The Northern Ontario Party for more details, but they have not responded to our requests for comment.
