A man on the run from police has been brought into custody.
Part of Highway 11 was closed Thursday as police brought the 31-year-old man from Gatineau under arrest
The Almaguin Highlands and Powassan OPP along with the North Bay Crime Unit, the Emergency Response Team, the North East Highway Safety Division, OPP Aviation Services and members of the North Bay Police Service all helped arrest the man.
A 31-year-old man from Gatineau has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, flight while pursued by a peace officer, failure to comply with a probation order, and failure to comply with recognizance.
He is being held in custody and will appear in court on August 29.
