Camp Ooch is looking to raise $1 million to send more kids to camp

You can help more kids with cancer get the summer camp experience.
Camp Oochigeas in Rosseau is campaigning to raise $1 million for the popular summer camp for kids suffering from cancer or in remission. Communications Officer Lisa Nightingale says they’ve helped a lot of kids, but there are still more who deserve this experience.

Camp Ooch has partnered with a private benefactor to match all donations made during this campaign. Nightingale says it costs about $4,000 for a child to stay for two weeks, which is covered by Camp Ooch. The organization is able to care for kids with all types of cancer with specialized oncology equipment kept on site. If you’d like to donate to this cause you can find more details here.
