Parry Sound buying new dehumidifier for BOCC

The Town of Parry Sound is bringing in a new dehumidifier for the local rink.
The town is purchasing the unit for $31,000 to fix some condensation issues they’ve had at Bobby Orr Community Centre.
This was the lowest of three tendered offers, and the only one within the town’s budget of $41,000.
There are currently three dehumidifiers in the BOCC, but only one is operational.
As part of their purchase, the company bringing the new unit will install and replace the obsolete dehumidifiers for free.
