The North East LHIN is inviting people to be a part of a Patient and Family Advisory Committee.
According to Cynthia Stables from the North East Local Health Integration Unit this new committee is being put together to help provide better healthcare for Northerners.
PFAC will be made up of 10 to 15 people who reflect the demographics of the region’s population, and will meet four times a year.
The committee will give advice about health care access and service improvements to the LHIN, it will also put forward new ideas

Applications to become part of PFAC will be accepted until August 11. Applicants will be notified whether they’ve been selected by September.
