Trapping illegally is costing one Pointe Au Baril man.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry fined the man $1,500 for trapping fisher out of season.
He was also fined for not filling out season-end paperwork required from trappers.
The season for fisher ended January 15 in Parry Sound. The MNRF says that the man only received his trapping license after the season was closed. They add he reported trapping six animals during the off season.
