Last weekend’s rainfall has Parry Sound wanting to look into its current storm sewer system.
At this week’s town council meeting council asked Director of Public Works Peter Brown to come up with a proposal for an inflow infiltration study.
The study will look at if and where storm water may be leaking into sanitary sewer system.
Brown says the study will address problem areas in the current system, but will take time and money to complete.
The proposal will come at a later council meeting, depending on how that goes it may become an item in next year’s budget.
