Selkirk worker strike may end Wednesday

The strike at Selkirk may be over.
Employees at the chimney production company in Nobel were back at work on Tuesday, and will vote on a contract offered by the company.

There will be one vote at 1 p.m. and another at 4 p.m. for the two shifts.
The 75 unionized workers went on strike last week. They’ve been out of a contract since February.
There were three main sticking point to negotiations.
One is lower wage increases for workers, the second being changes to the way infractions are being handled, and the third is a change to the structure to their pay rate set up.
