The town of Parry Sound is getting ready for its Canada 150 celebrations.
The event is taking place July 1st at the town dock bandshell and the Stockey Centre parking lot. According to Brad Weiler from the town of Parry Sound, this is the biggest Canada Day celebration the town has ever put on.
There will be music, games, and performances starting at 11 am and ending at 8 with fireworks.
One event of note is a performance by Alakazam the human knot.
According to Weiler, the fireworks display at the end of the evening will cost the town $20 000.
